Sacramento, CA (January 6, 2026) – A two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Manzanita Ave and Madison Ave on Saturday night resulted in at least one person sustaining injuries, including a transported passenger.
The incident occurred shortly before 10:20 p.m. and involved what was described as a possible head-on crash between a black Toyota Corolla and a second vehicle, possibly a Toyota Prius. Fire crews were alerted and responded promptly to assess the scene and provide aid to those involved. A young child, identified as a 2-year-old, was also reported to be present during the crash.
Authorities confirmed that one passenger required medical attention and was transported to Mercy San Juan Medical Center for treatment. The full extent of injuries has not yet been disclosed. Both vehicles sustained damage, and towing services were dispatched to remove the wreckage from the intersection.
