At approximately 5:27 p.m., Long Beach Police and emergency medical personnel responded to reports of a collision involving a vehicle and a bicyclist. Witnesses indicated the driver involved fled the scene immediately after striking the cyclist. The victim suffered injuries and received treatment from paramedics at the location before being transported to a nearby medical facility for continued care.
According to dispatch details, the suspect vehicle was described as a gray Toyota traveling northbound on Clark Ave. No license plate information was available at the time of the report, and authorities are actively investigating the incident as a felony hit-and-run.
