Tracy, CA (January 7, 2026) – A two-vehicle collision near a rural intersection outside Tracy resulted in major injuries early Monday morning, according to information from the California Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred around 6:06 a.m. on January 5 at the intersection of Midway Rd and Patterson Pass Rd, also referred to as County Road 2063. A white Honda Pilot and a second vehicle collided in the roadway, leaving both vehicles blocking traffic in the area.
Emergency crews from the Alameda County Fire Department and the Tracy Fire Department responded to the scene. At least one individual sustained major injuries and was transported to a local hospital for further treatment. The current condition of the injured party remains unknown.
Authorities are still investigating the crash to determine what led to the collision and whether weather, speed, or other factors played a role.
