Sacramento, CA (January 7, 2026) – A traffic collision near UC Davis Medical Center on Tuesday evening left one individual critically injured, according to emergency dispatch audio from local law enforcement.
The incident was reported at approximately 7:52 p.m. on January 6 along X St in Sacramento, near the medical center campus. Emergency crews responded to the area and quickly began coordinating hospital transport and traffic control on both eastbound and westbound lanes.
One person was transported to UC Davis Medical Center with injuries described as critical. Law enforcement and CHP remained on the scene to manage road closures and direct traffic flow while the situation was stabilized.
