Metairie, LA (January 7, 2026) – A serious traffic crash near Veterans Memorial Blvd and Clearview Pkwy in Metairie left one man injured and reportedly trapped inside his vehicle on January 6. Emergency crews were dispatched to the scene near a local seafood restaurant following reports of a person pinned after the collision.

Units including Engine 168 and Squad 169 responded to provide medical assistance and rescue support. The injured individual was extricated from the vehicle and treated by paramedics. Further details about the man’s condition have not yet been released.
