Oklahoma City, OK (January 7, 2026) – One person was reportedly injured Tuesday evening in a traffic crash that occurred near the intersection of North Independence Avenue and Northwest Expressway in Oklahoma City.
The collision was reported just after 8:10 p.m., prompting a response from Engine 17 and Rescue Ladder 30. Emergency crews arrived on scene and began assessing those involved in the crash. Although officials have not yet confirmed the extent of injuries, the incident was treated as a medical response due to injury concerns raised during the initial dispatch.
The crash occurred near a busy stretch of NW Expressway, a major arterial route with frequent evening traffic. Emergency crews worked to secure the scene while evaluating the condition of those involved. At least one lane was likely affected during the response.
