San Diego, CA (January 9, 2026) – Emergency crews responded to a multi-vehicle crash Sunday evening near the intersection of Scripps Highlands Parkway and Sunshine Peak Court in San Diego, where at least one person was injured.
The collision occurred around 5:45 p.m. on January 7. Metro Engine 37, along with additional fire and medical units, arrived on the scene to assist those involved. One individual was reported injured and received medical attention from medics 37 and 47.
The extent of the injuries has not been publicly confirmed, and it remains unclear how many vehicles were involved or what led to the crash. Police also responded to help manage the scene and investigate the cause of the incident.
