The collision occurred around 10:51 p.m. near 4502 Medical Dr, in the vicinity of the Rio Tower medical complex. Emergency personnel responded quickly to reports of a severe motorcycle crash involving a single rider. Upon arrival, paramedics found the motorcyclist unresponsive and suffering from major trauma.
Medic 31 initiated a Priority 1 Trauma Alert due to the extent of the victim’s injuries. The man, whose identity has not been released, was stabilized at the scene and rushed to University Hospital for advanced treatment. His current condition has not been disclosed.
