Indianapolis, IN (January 9, 2026) – Emergency crews responded Thursday afternoon to a collision involving a bicyclist and a vehicle near the intersection of 38th St and N Mitthoefer Rd on the east side of Indianapolis. The crash occurred around 12:28 p.m. on January 8 and involved a white Chevrolet Impala.
According to dispatch details, the bicyclist was struck and sustained injuries, prompting a response from EMS to provide on-site medical assistance. The extent of the injuries has not been confirmed, but the victim was conscious when emergency personnel arrived.
