Shreveport, LA (January 10, 2026) – Emergency crews from Fire District Five were dispatched on Wednesday morning to a motor vehicle accident with injuries near Yearwood Rd and Highway 1 in Shreveport.

The crash occurred around 11:09 a.m. on January 8. According to dispatch information, the Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office (CSO) requested fire services to assist at the scene after receiving reports of a crash involving at least one injured party.

Fire District Five responded to the area to provide medical support and assist with the scene. Details regarding the number of vehicles involved and the severity of injuries have not yet been released.

Traffic in the area was likely impacted as responders worked to aid the injured and clear the roadway. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
