The incident was initially flagged through a mobile emergency call system at approximately 8:05 p.m.
Authorities from the North District were dispatched to the area following a distress signal that included a voicemail callback and map-based location data. The caller indicated a significant collision had occurred and that someone inside one of the vehicles was not responding.
