Hillsboro, OR (January 10, 2026) – A head-on collision involving a moving truck and an SUV occurred on January 9 along Southeast 10th Ave in Hillsboro, leaving multiple individuals injured and prompting a full emergency response during the late afternoon hours.
The crash was reported at approximately 5:11 p.m. and involved a white moving truck and a gray Chevy SUV. According to dispatch reports, the vehicles were blocking the roadway at the time of arrival. One occupant was reportedly trapped inside a vehicle while two others had exited prior to first responders arriving. Triage procedures were initiated on site as fire and medical units assessed the victims.
AMR and Engine crews provided emergency care to those injured, though the full extent of injuries and the number of patients transported have not yet been released. The collision was initially described as head-on but later characterized as a T-bone crash, indicating a significant point of impact between the vehicles.
Traffic along SE 10th Ave was heavily affected as emergency personnel worked to stabilize the scene and investigate the cause of the incident. Cleanup and recovery efforts continued into the evening.
