Baltimore, MD (January 10, 2026) – Multiple emergency units responded on January 9 to a crash with reported entrapment at the intersection of South Calvert St and East Lombard St. The collision occurred around 7:52 p.m., prompting a rescue alarm response from Engine 23, Tower 1, Squad 26, and several EMS units.

On arrival, responders found at least one individual trapped inside a vehicle. Crews worked quickly to perform the extrication while medics stood by to render medical care once the victim was freed. The extent of injuries sustained has not yet been confirmed.

The area was temporarily impacted as emergency personnel worked the scene. Authorities are investigating the circumstances leading up to the crash.
