Rochester, NY (January 10, 2026) – Emergency crews responded to a motor vehicle accident involving injuries on January 9 near Lake Ave, between Lormer St and Phelps Ave, close to the Aldi store in Rochester. The crash occurred around 11:55 a.m. and prompted the dispatch of Engine 5 to the scene.

Upon arrival, first responders assessed those involved and confirmed that at least one person had sustained injuries in the crash. Paramedics provided on-site treatment while fire personnel worked to secure the scene and manage traffic around the impacted area.

The extent of injuries and the number of vehicles involved have not yet been disclosed. Traffic was temporarily slowed along Lake Ave as crews worked to clear the scene and ensure public safety.
