Chattanooga, TN (January 11, 2026) – A traffic collision involving injuries was reported Saturday morning in Hamilton County. The crash occurred around 10:27 a.m. on January 10 at the intersection of Jenkins Road and Shallowmeade Lane in Chattanooga.
Emergency responders arrived on scene to find at least one person injured as a result of the crash. Medical personnel provided care to those involved, and at least one individual required further treatment. The extent of the injuries has not been publicly confirmed.
The intersection is located in a residential area on the eastern side of the city, where weekend traffic can contribute to unexpected hazards. Traffic was temporarily affected as emergency crews assisted the injured and worked to remove vehicles from the roadway.
Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the crash. No additional information about the number of vehicles involved or contributing factors has been released at this time.
