Houston, TX (January 11, 2026) – A man was injured in a single-vehicle crash early Friday morning on I-10 westbound near the 610 North interchange in Houston. The collision occurred around 2:02 a.m. on January 10 and resulted in a prompt response from the Houston Fire Department and other emergency personnel.
Emergency crews arrived to find the male driver conscious and breathing. He reported a possible broken arm and had sustained a laceration to his face. Fire crews provided on-site medical assistance, and additional treatment was expected following transport to a local hospital. The crash occurred in the main lanes of the freeway, near the merge point just before the U.S. 290 split.
A wrecker was requested to remove the damaged vehicle from the roadway, and the area was temporarily affected as responders worked to clear the scene.
The cause of the crash is under investigation, and no additional details have been released.
