Rochester, NY (January 11, 2026) – A motor vehicle accident resulting in injuries occurred on Saturday on the westbound side of the Inner Loop near the State St exit, prompting a Basic Life Support (BLS) emergency response.
The incident happened during the afternoon hours and involved at least one vehicle sustaining moderate damage. Emergency responders arrived at the scene to assist those involved and assessed one or more individuals for non-life-threatening injuries.
Paramedics provided care on-site and transported at least one person to a nearby hospital for further medical evaluation. The injuries were not reported to be serious, and no entrapments or major hazards were noted.
Traffic along the Inner Loop westbound was temporarily impacted as emergency crews worked to manage the scene and ensure the safety of other drivers. Tow services removed the damaged vehicle shortly after.
Rochester Police are investigating the crash and have not yet released further information regarding the cause.
