Knoxville, TN (January 12, 2026) – A crash resulting in injuries was reported on the northbound ramp of James White Parkway near Historic Preservation Drive in Knoxville. The incident occurred around 8:28 a.m. on January 11 and prompted a response from Engine One and additional fire and medical units.

Paramedics and fire crews arrived at the north ramp connecting Historic Preservation Dr and Nalen Dr to assist those injured in the crash. A variety of injuries were reported, though specific details on the number of individuals hurt or the severity of those injuries have not yet been confirmed.

Traffic in the area was temporarily impacted while crews worked to secure the scene and provide medical assistance. Emergency responders operated on TAC Channel 5 during the response and remained on-site until the area was cleared.
