Joliet, IL (January 13, 2026) – A multi-agency emergency response was launched Monday afternoon following reports of a crash with injuries on Interstate 80 westbound, near milepost 134 in the Joliet area.
Initial dispatch audio confirmed that multiple ambulances and a fire engine from East Joliet were sent to the scene shortly after 2:50 p.m. The collision, which occurred along a busy stretch of I-80, resulted in at least one person sustaining injuries.
