Indianapolis, IN (January 13, 2026) – Emergency crews responded to a serious collision with reports of entrapment on January 12 near the intersection of West 38th St and Cold Spring Rd. The crash occurred around 12:29 p.m. and prompted the deployment of multiple units including Engine 30, Medic 30, Ladder 30, Battalion 1, and Tactical 14 under Operations 1.
Initial dispatch reports confirmed that at least one person was trapped inside a vehicle following the crash. Fire and rescue crews worked urgently to stabilize the scene and perform extrication efforts. The number of individuals involved and the severity of injuries have not yet been publicly released.
