The incident occurred around 11:20 a.m. and prompted a large-scale response from Indianapolis emergency services.
Dispatchers confirmed that the white work van had overturned in the crash, with at least one person trapped inside the wreckage. EMS units were quickly en route, and officers were requested to block westbound traffic at Holt Rd and Rockville Rd to secure the scene and prevent additional hazards.
Fire and rescue crews arrived to perform extrication efforts while medics evaluated those involved. The full extent of the injuries has not yet been made public, though responders indicated that at least one person required urgent attention due to being trapped in the overturned vehicle.
Tow trucks and accident investigators were also dispatched to assist in recovery and documentation efforts. Both vehicles remained at the scene during the response, which caused significant delays in the area late into the afternoon.
