Staunton, VA (January 13, 2026) – A two-vehicle collision near the intersection of Commerce Rd and Statler Blvd in Augusta County resulted in injuries Saturday evening. Emergency crews from State Rescue 5 and Engine 1 were dispatched to the scene just before 7:40 p.m.
Initial reports indicated that both individuals involved sustained shoulder injuries. Emergency responders found both patients awake and breathing upon arrival and began treatment while assessing the extent of the damage. Fluids were seen leaking from at least one of the vehicles, prompting responders to take additional safety precautions during cleanup.
Authorities have not yet released the cause of the crash or whether any citations will be issued. The incident caused brief traffic delays in the area as crews worked to assist the injured and clear the roadway.
