Albuquerque, NM (January 15, 2026) – A motor vehicle accident with injuries was reported Tuesday afternoon near the intersection of Cottonwood Drive Northwest and Ellison Drive Northwest in Albuquerque.
Emergency crews from Engine 31 and Rescue 31 were dispatched to the scene following a 29 Bravo 1 call shortly after 2:20 p.m. Upon arrival, first responders assessed the crash and began treating the injured at the scene. The extent of the injuries has not been made public, but paramedics provided immediate medical assistance to those involved.
The intersection, located near a busy retail area in northwest Albuquerque, saw traffic delays while crews managed the incident and worked to clear the roadway. The number of vehicles involved and the severity of the crash remain under investigation.
