Tucson, AZ (January 16, 2026) – A crash resulting in injuries was reported on Wednesday evening at the intersection of Valencia Rd and Kolb Rd in Tucson’s southeast corridor.
The collision occurred around 8:15 p.m., involving at least two vehicles during active evening traffic hours. Bystanders contacted emergency services, and Tucson Fire crews, along with medical personnel, arrived swiftly to assist those involved.
Several individuals sustained injuries and received on-site treatment from paramedics. At least one person was transported to a nearby medical facility for further evaluation. The extent of injuries has not been disclosed, but all victims were reportedly conscious and responsive at the scene.
Authorities secured the intersection, diverting vehicles while they assessed the cause of the crash and cleared debris. The crash site, a busy junction near several shopping centers and residential communities, experienced traffic delays for approximately an hour.
