Kansas City, MO (January 16, 2026) – A woman was transported to the hospital on Thursday evening following a motor vehicle accident on Wornall Rd in Kansas City.
The incident occurred around 6:50 p.m. near the 100–750 block of Wornall Rd. Emergency crews arrived shortly after receiving reports of a crash and assessed a 31-year-old female at the scene. While no life-threatening injuries were noted, the woman was experiencing abdominal cramping and was transported to a nearby hospital for further evaluation.
Medics indicated that she was in stable condition during the transfer. No additional injuries were reported at the time, and details about the number of vehicles involved or the cause of the accident remain limited.
The roadway was partially impacted as crews responded, but traffic was able to resume shortly after emergency operations concluded. Authorities are expected to release more information pending further investigation.
