Pearsall, TX (January 19, 2026) – A devastating collision claimed the lives of two teenagers and left another individual critically injured in Pearsall, according to local authorities. The crash occurred shortly before 6 p.m. near the intersection of Oak St and East Trinity St, prompting a large-scale emergency response.
Police Chief Daniel Flores confirmed that three individuals were traveling in a Scion sedan at the time of the incident. Tragically, the two passengers, both teens, succumbed to their injuries following the crash. The driver of the Scion was airlifted to a hospital in San Antonio and remains in critical condition.
The other vehicle involved, a Ford truck, was driven by an individual who remained on scene and was medically evaluated by emergency services. According to the Pearsall Police Department, the driver was cleared and has not been charged as of Sunday afternoon.
In the aftermath, detectives from the Pearsall Police Department were joined by Texas Department of Public Safety troopers to conduct a thorough investigation of the crash site. The area was closed off for several hours as crews documented evidence and cleared debris.
