Dallas, TX (January 19, 2026) – Two individuals were hospitalized following a house fire early Monday morning in the East Oak Cliff neighborhood of Dallas. The blaze broke out in the 1100 block of East 10th St, prompting a large-scale response from Dallas Fire-Rescue just before dawn.
Crews arrived at the scene around 3:00 a.m. on January 19 to find the vacant home fully engulfed in flames. Firefighters quickly located two victims collapsed on the front porch of the burning structure. Emergency medical personnel immediately rendered aid and transported both individuals to a nearby hospital for further treatment.
Responders worked swiftly to contain the fire and protect adjacent homes. Thanks to their efforts, the flames were brought under control with only minor impact on neighboring properties.
Although the home was officially listed as vacant, officials confirmed that it was occupied at the time of the fire. Investigators are currently working to determine what caused the blaze.
