West Hartford, CT (January 19, 2026) – A crash involving a black Audi Q3 and a possible fleeing vehicle left at least one person injured and others reporting pain on Friday evening in West Hartford. Emergency crews responded to the intersection of Sedgwick Rd and South Main St shortly before 6:48 p.m. on January 16 following reports of a two-vehicle collision.
Initial radio dispatch indicated that the second vehicle involved may have fled the scene before police arrived. Fire and EMS units provided care to at least one individual with confirmed injuries, while several additional occupants reported discomfort or pain. The extent of injuries has not been officially detailed, but responders remained on scene to assist and gather further information.
Traffic was temporarily affected as responders treated those involved and began their investigation into what may have been a hit-and-run. Police are working to identify the second vehicle and driver.
