Sarasota, FL (January 20, 2026) – Several people were hurt Monday night in a traffic accident that occurred at the intersection of N Tamiami Trl and General Spaatz Blvd, near the entrance to Sarasota Bradenton International Airport. Multiple agencies responded swiftly to the incident, including Sarasota County Fire Department units based out of Station 4.
Authorities say the accident was first reported at approximately 9:42 p.m. Emergency personnel arrived shortly after, finding multiple vehicles involved and a number of individuals in need of medical care.
