Albuquerque, NM (January 20, 2026) – A fatal collision involving a semi-truck occurred Monday evening near Central Ave NW at the Pit Stop in the Rio Puerco area, prompting a full emergency response and ongoing investigation.
The incident was reported around 5:35 p.m. on January 19 and was classified as a 29 Bravo 1, indicating a traffic crash with injuries. According to dispatch information, a man entered the nearby store after the crash to report the incident. Emergency crews responded to the scene and confirmed that one individual had died as a result of the collision.
