Troy, NY (January 20, 2026) – A pedestrian sustained serious injuries Monday evening after being struck by a vehicle at the intersection of Hoosick St and 15th St, according to the Troy Police Department.
The incident occurred around 5:45 p.m., when officers responded to reports of a person hit by a vehicle. Initial witness accounts indicate that the pedestrian, an adult male dressed in dark clothing, was crossing Hoosick St outside of a marked crosswalk when he was struck by a westbound vehicle.
Emergency medical personnel arrived promptly and provided immediate treatment to the injured man before transporting him to a nearby hospital. His injuries were described as serious, and no further updates on his condition have been made available at this time.
