Knoxville, TN (January 21, 2026) – Emergency crews responded to a motor vehicle crash involving injuries near Delaware Ave in the area of Rector St and Burnside St in Knoxville.
The incident occurred at approximately 6:36 p.m., prompting the deployment of Engine 7 and additional first responders to the scene. Paramedics and fire personnel operated on tactical channel five as they worked to assist individuals injured in the crash. A variety of injuries were reported, though the full extent and number of those hurt have not yet been released.
The crash took place near a residential section of Delaware Avenue, temporarily affecting traffic through the surrounding intersections. Emergency medical services provided on-scene treatment, and at least one individual was reportedly transported for further medical evaluation.
