Columbus, OH (January 22, 2026) – A traffic accident resulting in injuries occurred on Wednesday at the intersection of Dublin Rd and Dunlavin Glen Rd on the west side of Columbus, drawing a response from local fire and EMS personnel.
Emergency crews were dispatched to the scene following reports of a two-vehicle crash near a residential area just south of Upper Arlington. Upon arrival, responders found at least one person injured and began providing on-site medical care. The injured party was later transported to a nearby hospital for further evaluation. The extent of their injuries has not been officially confirmed, but was considered non-life-threatening at the time of response.
Both vehicles involved sustained moderate damage and had to be removed from the roadway, causing a temporary traffic disruption in the area. Police secured the scene and directed traffic while paramedics and firefighters attended to those involved.
Investigators are working to determine what led to the crash, including whether speed, driver distraction, or road conditions may have played a role. Dublin Rd is a frequently traveled corridor, particularly during commute hours, and has seen similar incidents in the past due to its winding layout and limited visibility in certain stretches.
Our thoughts are with those affected by this accident, and we wish the injured individuals a full and swift recovery.
