Nokomis, FL (January 23, 2026) – A traffic accident involving injuries occurred Friday afternoon in a Nokomis neighborhood, leading to an emergency response near the intersection of Ravenna St S and Florence St.
The crash took place at approximately 4:49 p.m., drawing units from Nokomis Fire Department Station 41 to the scene. Upon arrival, responders found at least one vehicle involved and several individuals in need of medical attention.
Paramedics provided on-site care to those hurt in the collision. At least one person was transported to a nearby medical facility for further treatment. The full extent of the injuries remains unknown, and no updates on patient conditions have been released.
