Venice, FL (January 23, 2026) – An afternoon accident along a busy stretch of S Tamiami Trl in Venice resulted in injuries and a prompt emergency response on Friday.
The crash occurred around 2:25 p.m. near the 400 block of S Tamiami Trl, not far from downtown Venice. Venice Fire Department crews from Station 51 arrived at the scene to assist those injured and manage traffic in the area.
At least one individual sustained injuries requiring further medical attention and was transported to a nearby hospital for evaluation. Additional parties involved were assessed on site by paramedics. The full extent of injuries has not been released at this time.
The collision caused temporary slowdowns along S Tamiami Trl as emergency teams worked to remove the vehicles and clear the roadway. Traffic conditions gradually returned to normal later in the afternoon.
