Sarasota, FL (January 23, 2026) – A Friday afternoon traffic accident at a busy Sarasota intersection left at least one person injured and led to a response from local fire and rescue units.
The crash occurred around 2:17 p.m. at the intersection of N Cattlemen Rd and Fruitville Rd, a high-traffic area near shopping centers and commercial zones. Sarasota County Fire Department crews from Station 8 were dispatched to assist with injuries and scene management.
Emergency medical teams evaluated those involved in the collision, providing on-site care. At least one person was transported to a nearby hospital for further evaluation. The current condition of the injured party has not been disclosed.
