Venice, FL (January 23, 2026) – An injury accident at a busy Venice intersection Friday morning led to emergency response activity and traffic disruption.
The crash occurred around 11:19 a.m. at the intersection of Jacaranda Blvd and Center Rd. Crews from Sarasota County Fire Department Station 21 responded to the scene, where they rendered medical aid to those involved.
Multiple individuals were assessed on site, and at least one person required transportation to a nearby hospital for further care. Authorities have not released additional details regarding the severity of injuries or the number of vehicles involved.
Traffic was impacted in the area as responders worked to clear the roadway and ensure safety for passing motorists. Normal flow resumed after emergency operations were completed.
