Jefferson, MO (January 23, 2026) – A woman suffered injuries in a two-vehicle collision that took place on Thursday afternoon on Local Hillsboro Rd, just south of Cedar Hill Rd, according to information from the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
The incident was reported at approximately 2:35 p.m. and involved a 2016 Ford F-150 driven by a 16-year-old female and a 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by a 56-year-old woman, both residents of Cedar Hill. Authorities say the teenage driver was pulling out of a driveway and turning left onto Local Hillsboro Rd when her pickup struck the side of the southbound Jeep.
Both vehicles sustained moderate damage, but were able to be driven from the scene. The older driver, who was wearing a seatbelt, sustained injuries and later traveled by personal vehicle to SSM Health St. Clare Hospital in Fenton for treatment. The teen driver was not reported injured.
CPL J.D. Procknow of Troop C conducted the investigation. At this time, officials have not indicated whether citations will be issued, though the incident remains under review.
We hope for a swift recovery for the injured driver and urge all motorists to use extra caution when entering roadways from driveways or side streets.
