Bellevue, WA (January 23, 2026) – A tragic collision claimed the life of one individual on Tuesday afternoon at the intersection of 140th Avenue Northeast and Main Street in Bellevue, according to dispatch audio and initial reports.
The fatal crash occurred at approximately 3:16 p.m. and involved a white Toyota Corolla and a motorcycle. Emergency responders arrived quickly on the scene and confirmed that one person, believed to be the motorcyclist, was deceased upon their arrival. The identity of the victim has not yet been released pending notification of next of kin.
Tow services were requested for both vehicles, which sustained significant damage as a result of the impact. The intersection remained closed for several hours while investigators processed the scene and collected evidence to determine the sequence of events that led to the crash.
