Mechanicsville, VA (January 23, 2026) – A multi-vehicle accident at the intersection of Cold Harbor Rd and Grant Dr resulted in at least one person sustaining injuries on Wednesday afternoon, prompting a swift response from local emergency services.
The incident occurred around 3:50 PM on January 21. Engine and medic units arrived to find multiple vehicles involved, with one reportedly emitting smoke and another leaking fluids onto the roadway. Emergency personnel quickly assessed the scene and assisted individuals affected by the collision, including one person who was reported to be experiencing back pain.
Due to the nature of the crash and the presence of vehicle hazards, portions of the intersection were temporarily shut down as crews worked to stabilize the area and tend to those injured. Medics provided on-site treatment, and additional medical evaluation was recommended for the injured party.
