Buffalo, NY (January 25, 2026) – A serious traffic accident occurred just after midnight on Saturday on I-190 northbound near Exit 9 in Buffalo, leaving one person injured and prompting a significant emergency response.
The crash was reported at approximately 12:18 a.m. Emergency medical services, along with fire and police units, were dispatched to the scene, where they found one person suffering from back and head injuries. The individual was reported to be conscious and alert at the time of transport, with no life-threatening injuries noted.
Others involved in the crash did not appear to sustain physical injuries, according to initial on-scene assessments. First responders worked to secure the area and assist the injured while managing traffic near the busy freeway interchange.
