Chesterfield Co, VA (January 25, 2026) — One person was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries following a multi-vehicle collision in Chesterfield on Saturday afternoon. The crash took place around 3:15 p.m. in the 1300 block of Buford Rd and involved three vehicles, prompting a detailed investigation by the Chesterfield County Police Department.
According to authorities, a 2016 Honda CRV traveling south on Buford Rd crossed the centerline and sideswiped a northbound 2017 Honda Accord. The impact caused the Accord to spin into the southbound lanes, where it came to a rest. A 2007 Ford F150, also traveling south, then struck the Accord.
The driver of the Ford F150 sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital for emergency care. Officials have not yet released the identities of those involved. Investigators remained at the scene for several hours to document evidence and interview witnesses.
