Bridgeport, CT (January 27, 2026) – Emergency crews were dispatched on Monday afternoon to a vehicle collision with reported injuries at the intersection of Broad Street and State Street in downtown Bridgeport.
The incident occurred around 1:40 p.m. on January 26. According to dispatch audio, one of the individuals involved was a rideshare passenger who reported experiencing back and rib pain following the crash. Medical personnel arrived on scene to assess the passenger’s condition and provide care.
Details about the number of vehicles involved and the cause of the collision have not yet been confirmed. However, the presence of passenger injuries prompted immediate medical attention and a response from local law enforcement.
