Kelso, WA (January 27, 2026) – A serious two-vehicle accident blocked traffic and left two people injured Monday morning at the intersection of Talley Way and Coweeman Park Dr in Kelso.
The collision was first reported around 10:09 a.m., with responding units arriving to find both vehicles obstructing the roadway. Emergency crews from local fire and rescue services confirmed that two individuals were hurt, one of whom required immediate extrication from a damaged vehicle.
By 10:14 a.m., firefighters had successfully removed one injured person from the wreckage. Rescue efforts continued as a second occupant, also injured, was carefully extricated by emergency personnel shortly afterward. Both individuals were evaluated and transported for further medical care.
Traffic in the area was significantly impacted during the response and investigation. Authorities remained on the scene to document the crash, clear debris, and assess possible contributing factors.
