Long Beach, CA (January 28, 2026) – A traffic accident resulting in injuries was reported early Tuesday morning along the northbound lanes of Interstate 405 near Lakewood Blvd in Long Beach.
California Highway Patrol units responded shortly after 7:00 a.m. following reports of a crash that had injured at least one person. The incident occurred during morning commute hours, contributing to traffic delays along a heavily traveled corridor.
Upon arrival, CHP officers worked to secure the area and assess the condition of those involved. Emergency medical personnel were called to assist, providing treatment on scene to individuals hurt in the collision.
