Danbury, CT (January 28, 2026) – Emergency personnel were called to the scene of a vehicle crash with reported injuries Tuesday afternoon at the intersection of Jefferson Avenue and West Wooster Street in Danbury.
The collision occurred at approximately 2:33 p.m., prompting the dispatch of multiple emergency units. Upon arrival, first responders assessed those involved and provided medical care at the scene. While the total number of people injured has not been confirmed, at least one individual was believed to have sustained injuries requiring further evaluation.
Traffic in the area was temporarily impacted as crews worked to assist the injured and remove the involved vehicles from the roadway. The scene was active for some time as responders ensured safety and began an initial investigation into the cause of the crash.
