Monroe, WA (January 28, 2026) – A serious multi-vehicle accident shut down both directions of US Highway 2 in Monroe on Tuesday morning, leaving four individuals injured and prompting an extensive emergency response.

Snohomish Regional Fire & Rescue crews arrived at the scene and provided Basic Life Support (BLS) treatment to four patients.
