Youngstown, OH (January 29, 2026) – Emergency crews responded to a reported crash with injuries on Wednesday evening on I-680 near mile marker 4, impacting both directions of traffic through the Youngstown area.
The incident occurred shortly before 7:00 p.m., according to dispatch audio, and prompted medical response units to the scene. Both northbound and southbound lanes were affected as responders worked to assist those hurt in the crash. While details about the number of vehicles involved and the extent of injuries remain limited, at least one person was reported injured and in need of treatment.
Traffic disruptions were noted in the area as authorities worked to clear the roadway and initiate an investigation into the circumstances leading to the collision.
