San Diego, CA(January 30, 2026) – A two-vehicle accident involving injuries was reported late Thursday night on the northbound side of State Route 163, just south of the Laurel Street Bridge near Balboa Park in San Diego.
The incident occurred around 10:15 p.m. and involved a green Toyota Camry and a gray Honda Accord. According to CHP dispatch logs, one vehicle was blocking both lanes within a closure area, while the other was stopped on the right-hand shoulder.
Emergency crews responded to the scene and provided assistance to the individuals involved. At least one tow truck was requested, and injuries were confirmed, though the total number and severity have not yet been released.
