Los Angeles, CA (January 31, 2026) – A multi-vehicle collision with injuries occurred Friday evening on the westbound 101 Freeway just past the Burbank Blvd off-ramp. The crash took place shortly before 8:00 PM and involved several vehicles, including a black Tesla. Emergency responders from Los Angeles City Fire Department quickly arrived on scene to provide aid.
First responders, including firefighters and paramedics, assessed and treated multiple patients involved in the crash. At least one female occupant from the Tesla was evaluated and reportedly requested transport to a nearby hospital. The full extent of injuries has not yet been disclosed, but multiple victims were confirmed to be involved.
The crash caused disruptions along the westbound lanes of the 101, with units using the Van Nuys exit to circle back to the scene. Traffic delays were reported as emergency crews worked to care for the injured and manage the scene safely.
An active investigation is underway to determine the events that led to the collision. Authorities are reviewing possible factors such as speed, lane changes, or distraction that may have contributed to the incident.
